St Lawrence is located midway between Mackay and Rockhampton, 6 kms east of the Bruce Highway the town was once a major shipping port and now enjoys the serenity of a small town community.

St Lawrence is rich with history once being the largest coastal port on the east coast, it is now a small town situated 150kms south of Mackay and 170kms north of Rockhampton.
